Escape is a Platform Shooter Game made for Mix and Game Jam 2020.
A Platform Shooter Game made for Mix and Game Jam 2020.
The Jams's theme was mix genres and we mixed Platforming and Shooting with a twist! Your gun doesn't fire bullets to kill enemies but can destroy or create platforms. Use your fancy gun to work your way through single screen puzzle levels!
Controls
Jump: W, Space Bar or Second Mouse Button.
Move: A/D or Arrow Keys.
Shoot: Mouse Button.
Change Fire Mode: Tab.
Reset Level: R.
Return to Menu: Escape.

Really cool game with a unique concept.
Really cool. I played through it twice.
I love how the level design often allows multiple solutions and that the ammunition amount is 'forgiving' (instead of you got x bullets and the level can only be solved by using exactly x bullets, these kind of puzzles always turn me off). This is really creative.
